John A. Knepper, DO
Dr. Knepper attended medical school at the Osteopathic Medical College of Philadelphia. In 1988 he moved to Mount Pleasant, SC to complete his Internship and Residency Training in Family Practice at the US Naval Hospital Charleston. From 1991 to 1994, Dr. Knepper served with the US Navy as a Family Practice physician in Okinawa. In March 2000, he established Sewee Family Medicine.
Dr. Knepper is board certified in Family Practice. His is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Practice.
Harriet S. Hansen, DO
Dr. Harriet S. Hansen has recently joined the practice at Sewee Family Medicine. Dr. Hansen grew up in Charleston and has enjoyed being back in the Lowcountry after finishing her training. She attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed residency in 2010 at MacNeal Hospital Family Medicine program, affiliated with the University of Chicago. Her interests include pediatrics and women's health. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the South Carolina Medical Society, and the American Academy of Family Physcians.
